1939 Ford Deluxe time warp machine. This beauty was redone about 35 years ago driven for a couple of years and put into storage. Drivetrain was updated to a 327 Chevy engine backed up by a 4 speed and a 10 bolt Chevy rearend.
Have been driving it around a little bit and it appears to be very tight and well done. One of the brake slave cylinders is leaking and the exhaust needs to be replaced (rusty mufflers)
The interior is well done and in a black vinly that represents work done 35 years ago. Carpet does need to be replaced in the front area, wore out in drivers foot area.
Paint is cracking and chipping and is dull in some areas. All glass is good and tires are new. Chrome on grille and bumpers is pitted and has surface rust. This car does not appear to have had any major rust repair every done and all panels appear original as are the floor and trunk area. This 39 is ready to be used just the way it is or with a repaint and some rechroming this would be an ez project for anyone to take on.
