| Super Cool 1949 Chevy convertible Street Rod with a total of 8781 miles since completion . Car has been on several long trips with 0 problems. All bugs have been worked out . No expense spared in the build of this gorgeous car. The body and paint work is second to none, fenders and headlights have been molded in and all fit and finish is where they need to be. The chrome and trim work is flawless. The engine is 4 bolt main 9 1/2 to 1 350. The trans is a turbo 350 and rear end is a1972 Nova 3:07 open unit. Front suspension is a Fatman Mustang II unit with a power Thunderbird rack and Heidts coilover setup. The interior is also flawless and is done in a combination of tan and burgundy material. The door panels match the seat pattern and the entire interior quality is also first rate. Steering column is an early 1970's Chevy Van tilt unit. Top is a power operated unit made of burgundy canvas material that matches the paint work. Wheels and steering wheel are by Colorado Customs. Tires are like new. The underside of the car is clean and well done. Radio is a stock appearing unit but has been converted to AM/FM . Doors have had the handles shaved and entry is by way of remote poppers. Car drives and goes down the road silky smooth. You could not build this car for anything close the selling price. |
