Here we have a super nice 1939 Ford Deluxe 2 Door Sedan. This is a very original car. I can tell the fenders and the hood were repainted at some point but I do not know when (please note I included several pictures of the front but for whatever reason with the lighting it made the fenders look like they are a different color, that is not the case just not a pro photographer so please see the other photos ) The rest of the car appears to be all original paint but it has had a gloss clear coat shot over it to try to preserve the factory paint from 1939. It has some light patina on the roof and fenders but it shows quite well. The interior of the car is still completely original and has never been redone. Car still has the original flat head and 3 speed transmission and it runs fantastic with just over 56k actual miles on the car. It runs down the road quite well and stops just as good, this is a fantastic example of a survivor car that has been left original which is very hard to find anymore. The car even has the original jack and Ford script tools that came with it from the factory. The wood in the trunk still looks great and isn't all rotten but I can not tell if it has been replaced, if it has its been a long time since that was done. I do not see any rust or signs of rust repair on the car. The biggest thing I see is the 2 rear fenders and the right front fender have quite a bit of damage, its not from it being wrecked but you can tell they probably had a pretty narrow garage and were not very good at pulling in and out if it, the left front is still super straight (probably because that's the only one he or she could see) The only recent thing that has been done the car has had a new exhaust system ran on it, but it still sounds very good. If you have any questions about the car at all please feel free to reach out to me, a call is preferred but if you email I will try to get back to you as soon as possible.
