1984 monte Carlo. Car was purchased as is in 1994 and has been driven maybe 2000 miles since that time and was stored in a barn until about a month ago. They did a complete oil change and service, and it has brand new tires. Ac compressor seems to be no good but there is a brand new one in the trunk of the car that just needs to be installed. This is a good driver quality car. Starts right up and runs well. Transmission shifts very good and stops nice and straight. The interior of this car is excellent. There is one very small cigarette burn on the base of the back seat. The car does not smell of smoke and the current owners do not do so. So I believe that was probably done when the car was very new. only oddity on the interior is for some reason at some point the numbers on the speedometer must have been wearing so you can see someone painted or used silver sharpie to recolor the numbers. The undercarriage and floorpan look very nice no signs of rust damage or repair. However from sitting it does need a new exhaust system as it has several rust holes throughout. The paint and body work is marginal. By no means a show car but would be a good driver. It is clear the car was caught in a hail storm and there are still signs of hail damage on the hood, some minor dings on the b pillars. The roof and trunk lid look nice just some very minor dings. paint does have orange peel and you can see some paint runs on various parts of the car and a few spots where they skinned it to clear up some damage is starting to crack. if you have any questions please feel free to ask. we are here Mon- Fri 8am-5pm MST. just ask for Ethan. Thank you and have a great day!
